Shawn started her career working for Marvin J. Dolinka, CPA, while attending Grand Rapids Community College, where she earned her degree in accounting, and she stayed with Marv’s firm for seven years. After spending time raising her family, she returned to work with Marv’s firm, at the time Dolinka, Smith & VanNoord, in 1988 and has been with the firm ever since. Along with being the Office Manager, Shawn oversees the write-up and bookkeeping department, is the co-computer administrator for Dolinka, VanNoord & Company, and is experienced in a variety of accounting software packages. Shawn has lived in the Grand Rapids area all of her life.
